Dalton, Scotland Notice Boards
Dalton Village required a practical and visually striking solution to display community information in a rural setting with no existing street lighting. The brief called for two external notice boards that would remain clearly visible year-round while withstanding Scotland’s harsh weather conditions.
Illuminated Noticeboards
Over the last 12 months, we have been developing an innovative, bat friendly, lighting solution that can be either fitted at manufacture or retro fitted to existing ES Solutions noticeboards.
Rugby Nations Plaque
This project has been an on-going labour of love for ES Solutions! First installed in 1999, each shirt reflects the competing nations in the rugby world cup. It proved to be so popular in the local area that we were subsequently commissioned to update it for the world cup’s in 2003 and 2007.
Phoenix Park, Wolverhampton
One of the newest products to be added to our range and EXCLUSIVE to MLS, the Phoenix Rain Shelter can be produced totally in Cor-Ten steel or with clear polycarbonate glazing. Seating between 8 and 11 comfortably, the side panels can be decorated to your specification using the latest laser cutting technology. This piece was the first project at MLS to use Cor-Ten steel.
1st World War Memorial – St Omer
St Omer is the birthplace of the RAF as we know it today and in 2004 we had the honour and privilege to be involved in producing a war memorial to commemorate all those who served on the western front in St Omer during the first world war. Many squadrons can trace their roots back to formation in St Omer during the period of World War 1. Over 50 squadrons were based in the town, a vital part of RAF history.
Up at The O2 Skyline Lectern
In the summer of June 2012, MLS were proud to be involved in a collaborative project to produce and install an acid etch circular lectern depicting the spectacular London skyline to sit atop the O2 arena.
Recycled Plastic Seating
We’re very proud of our ability to produce a realistic timber alternative made entirely from recycled plastic.
Dudley Notice Boards
Working with Dudley Borough Council, we were tasked with designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke outdoor notice boards for Sedgley Hall Farm Park. The goal was to create durable, weather-resistant boards that could clearly display visitor information while complementing the natural setting of the park.
Dog Bin
We were commissioned to design and supply durable dog waste bins for a client requiring a robust and vandal-resistant solution. The dog waste bins we provided featured a front-opening, lockable door with a heavy-duty steel pivot hinge, ensuring ease of use for maintenance teams. Each bin included an internal galvanised steel liner and an anti-tamper chute system, which allowed users to deposit waste cleanly while preventing tampering or contents being removed.
Planters in Radcliffe on Trent
We were delighted to supply our striking Kingussie planters to Radcliffe on Trent Parish Council, creating an eye-catching floral feature for the village. The Kingussie is a triple-tier planter constructed from 3mm thick folded aluminium with a central galvanised steel column, offering both strength and style. Standing 2000mm high when fully assembled, its three tiers—ranging from a 1200mm base to a 600mm top tier—provide ample space for vibrant floral displays, creating a stunning focal point when in full bloom.
Recycled Litter Bin
We supplied our Parkside litter bins as part of a project to provide a durable and low-maintenance waste solution for a client’s outdoor space. The open-top design of these bins complemented the surrounding environment, making them an ideal choice for parks, conservation areas, and schools.
Litter Bins St Helier
We worked with the Parish of St Helier to design and supply a premium litter bin solution that combined durability, practicality, and modern aesthetics. The chosen design was based on our robust Trent litter bin, upgraded with 2mm thick 304-grade stainless steel featuring a brushed finish. This gave the bins a sleek, contemporary look while ensuring long-lasting performance in a busy public environment.
Edinburgh Notice Boards
We worked with Edinburgh City Council to design and create bespoke outdoor notice boards for Inch Park and Drum Park. Built to withstand the elements while blending with the surrounding landscape, each board provides a practical, durable, and visually appealing way to share community information in these much-loved public spaces.
